I just finished the first part, Soldiers.
It's one of the best I've read. It's raw and intense, brutal and beautiful, absorbing and addictive.
It's free. And it's really, really not for the faint-hearted.

A not pros rec.

It's about Simon, a manager of a film festival, and Declan, a football player, and it's intelligent, funny and totally absorbing from start to finish, to quote a review on Amazon. I couldn't put it down.

I just happened to find this very good review.
