Prosfic recommendation
Dec. 23rd, 2009 12:14 amThis is the first of a number of pros slash fanfiction (with one gen exception) which I rarely found recommended since I rediscovered The Professionals and at the same time discovered pros fanfiction about two and a half years ago. Actually "rarely" means "never", but I can't be sure that I didn't miss something somewhere, therefore "rarely" it is.
I'll start with the one gen fanfiction, Angels Unaware by Bardicvoice, which is a very well written, long case story, with Bodie and Doyle completely in character and a lot of h/c (Bodie is stabbed). In fact it is outstanding and absolutely readable, even for those who usually fancy only slash (just like me). Why? Because the story is dense (I hope I got the right term here) and gripping and concentrates on the partnership (they are together most of the time) and on the care and love they are showing for each other. Maybe it could be pre-pre-slash if one would like to think so. Anyway, it is very enjoyable and I warmly recommend reading it.

( It's captivating right from the beginning ... )
